I’ve been doing lots of lighthearted videos lately, like this one about the ‘search for swag’ — freebies at the county’s business expo.
Many of them come out of things I see while out and about for my ideaLab mobile reporting project.
Photographer Jason Plotkin had recently made a video intro for another reporter and offered to do the same for me.
He created this, which I uploaded to my iPad camera roll. Now, I always have it and can plop it into any video via iMovie (or other programs I might use) to give my less serious projects a personal, consistent look.
The first frame is from a recent trip to the York County School of Technology, where I attended welding class.
That story will run in an upcoming issue of the Sunday News.
As for the intro, I hope it captures my personality.
Let me know what you think!
