My first social media club meeting was so much fun, you guys! #hbgsmc

Both eating and tweeting are happening here. Also, I got WAY too enthusiastic when I learned that the gent in the orange shirt was the 5-year-old kid on the family-owned dealership's "Just call me, Ryan!" commercials of the 90s. If you lived in Central PA then, you should know what I'm talking about.

Last night, I went to my first Harrisburg Social Media Club meeting with my fantabulous friend Melissa.

Check out the tweets here.

The group meets monthly at local businesses to network, ask questions and share social media initiatives.

The meeting last night was at Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg.

Mary Pratt, internet sales director, talked about ways the family-owned dealership has used technology to enhance the customer experience – from Facebook games to YouTube videos that show Ford owners how to sync their phone with the car.

She talked about how customers are using Twitter — sometimes to tweet @hoffmanford from their customer lounge to ask for crayons and a coloring book for a fussy kid.

Anywho, I had a fun time and met cool people.

Well worth the trip across the river!
